Depression a little reminder
This is a zone free blog. That means that if you want to talk one on one please do so. You could write whatever you want. Dealings with depression, sadness, loneliness etc.
Quotes
I know I post a lot of pictures and quotes, but I want to explain that I suffer from depression. I try to occupy my mind during the day and do little things that make me happy. But at night I think n think and I can't sleep. My head starts hurting because of all the thinking I do. So I search and search until I find quotes that sometimes relate to how I feel. I write about myself because I also suffer from depression, tha I am just like every one else that has and is suffering from depression. I'm not a doctor or an expert I'm just a regular person that has suffered from this since I was a child. I cry, I hurt, I get sad, I have been to the gates of hell and back. Because of this mental illness called depression.
I hope you all benefit from these quote and lil notes I share with you....

Depression....Five ways to get over a Bad day
1. Time to be a phony
When it comes to feeling bad, several studies have revealed that pretending to be in a better mood
can actually put you in one. "when you smile, even if it's not genine, it sends happiness signals to your brain and makes you feel much better." says Simon rego, PsyD, director of psychology training at Montifiore Medical Center.
2. Take the nearest Exit
Sometimes, the quickest technique to spin an awful day around is just to get up and leave. "it can be hard to shake bad feelings because there could be reminders everywhere of what you set off," says Susanne Babel, PhD, psychologist in San Francisco. Meaning, if you're getting annoyed by someone's snide comments, staying where you'll hear more of the same isn't going to help. Take a walk or head over the nearst coffee shop. "Taking in different sights can defuse your grumpy disposition."
3. Throw a Punch
Attending a kickboxing class or taking a jab at a punching bag truly can turn things around. "Exercising releass endorphins that work quickly to make you more joyful," says Rego. Doing something that makes you grumble will help you work through your aggravation.
4. Call a Friend
Every so often, you just have a emitting session, but who you vent to and how you do it is essential. Prefer a pal who's a great listener. It could be your Mom, your sister or any relative. "But before you start, ask your them to stop you when it's been 15 minutes," says Darlene Mininni, PhD, author of the Emotional toolkit. "Thta's a good amount of time to get things off your cheat. Any longer and you'll start focusing on the negative stuff too much."
5. Treat Yourself
If your day has been cheiefly hellish, you'll need something that will affix a slight brightness to it. A nippy and simply way to do that? "Treat yourself to something that feels indulgent and that you really love...Like a fancy baked good or buttery popcorn," says Rego. "when you pamper yourself, it's hard to stay grumpy."

Depressed, remember I'm in your corner.
I deal with depression every day. I'm sad, I feel lonely, I don't want to do anything. But I try to deal with it. I get up and find something to do that brings me joy. I motivate myself. That is one of the biggest issues...motivation. Get up and motivate yourself and try to be productive. Get a hobby. Get on social media. Follow what interest you. Instagram has been very good for me. I follow my interest. Facebook is also a source of entertainment. I go on and go thru Facebook for hours lookingat all the things people post. There is lots of forms of entertainment just at the tip of your finger tips! Now if your not into technology. Go grap a camera and go take pictures of the beautiful things around you. Or get a pet. Pets are very therapeutic. The most important too do is try to shake yourself from depression taking over you. There is a lot of help out there for Mental illness. Oh did I just say mental illness, well yes I did. And I'm proud to say that I have gotten over the feeling of being rejected because of my illness. Get over it we are 2015 and depression doesn't faze people like before.
Now remember this is a zone free blog. I am not hear to judge. I'm here to help those that want help.

Depression and feeling lonely
Sometime you could feel so depressed and lonely even if your surrounded by people. You could still feel alone. Loneliness is sometimes a feeling that your the only one out there. You could be surrounded by family and friends and feel alone. You need to try an interact with people so that lonely feeling passes you by. But its hard cause its like your in your own caccoon. I don't know if people understand what I am saying right now, but if you suffer from depression you may understand. Depress people sometimes hide under an invisable mask to hide their emotions. A lot like what Robin Williams did. He hide under his comedy. No one whould have guess how much he was suffering.
Robin Williams loss has open an awareness in me. That people could protray being happy but deep inside they are stricken by sadness. sometime over whelming sadness that cause one to end it all. Don't wait until your too depress to do anything about it. Remember there is always some form of help out there. That you are not the only one.. That thousands of people are stricken with this mental illness. Don't hide from this come out of the darkness into the light. There is always a way out of the darkness of depress.
Get help there is always someone willing to help. Just reach out....

Depression and life......
Most people suffer from some form of depression in their life. Some people will recognize it as depression others will think its just extreme sadness. If you feel sad and without energy. Don't feel like doing anything. Just laying there and eating, that I believe is a form of depression. If you feel like this try and get motivated to do something. Get a hobbie, read a book. But do something. I know how it feels I have been there so many time during my life.. But one thing I don't give up. Here are the names of some books that if you wish you could read.
1- the noonday demon
2-struck by living: from depression to hope
3-Back from the brink: true stories and practical help for over coming depression and bipolar disorder.
I hope these books will help!
